Mind Control 101 (Part II)

IMGAsk, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:
Matthew 7:7 (KJV)

If you are interested in understanding mind control techniques there is no shortage of information to be found on the web and in bookstores. Men such as Edward Bernays, Vance Packard and Marshall McLuhan have written volumes on how the advertising industry and media target their audiences with subliminal messages.

In a perfect world we could all unquestioningly trust the authority figures in our lives and they would never breach that trust. Generally speaking, cooperation with them is beneficial and necessary to a civil society. However we have given our trust to these authority figures much too easily, and respect those who have never earned it.

Speak Softly and Carry a Big Stick

Speak softly and carry a big stick; you will go far.
Theodore Roosevelt

We can separate mind control techniques into two distinct categories; either active or passive. A group can only be controlled if they will submit to authority, and this cooperation is established either through trust, or fear. The easiest method of controlling a target audience is when they're under the delusion of having a choice in the matter. When gentle persuasion is combined with limited choices they never even realize they are being controlled.

Established Through Existing Subordinate Relationships

Key communicators are individuals to whom members of a TA [target audience] turn to for information, opinion, or interpretation of information. Many times PSYOP personnel cannot send the PSYOP message directly to the TA, or the TA would be more susceptible if the message came from an intermediate TA. Identifying and communicating with key communicators, whether they are teachers, principals, religious figures, town elders, or prominent businessmen, can be very helpful. A key communicator can also be thought of as a celebrity spokesperson. The use of key communicators can add credibility to a PSYOP message.

Pre-established subordinate relationships based on trust are the most effective means of control, because when we blindly trust our defenses are down. Whether we consciously realize it or not, as a society we have all been collectively indoctrinated into this blind acceptance of the rule of others in the assumed role of benefactors.

Educators, doctors, even celebrities enjoy this key communicator status to a certain degree, but perhaps the most trusted are the religious figures, the clergy. This is because in the minds of many these men literally represent God. This makes them potentially dangerous, especially those who are aware of this trust and exploit it. This is never a beneficial situation for the listener because it leaves us at a disadvantage.

We can divide these 'key communicators' into two groups. The first are authority figures (government and religious officials), which we are conditioned to not only trust, but to unquestioningly obey. Within this group are also those who hold degrees and are licensed by the government to practice their profession such as doctors and lawyers. The second group consists of those who hold no formal titles but are generally held in high esteem by the public such as prominent businessmen (Donald Trump, Bill Gates et al.) and celebrities. On a subconscious level we generally perceive these 'key communicators' to be better informed and even superior to us.

They regularly lie to us, but at some point we become their unwitting accomplices to their lies through our lack of vigilance, which is due to incredulity and just plain laziness. We either cannot believe or refuse to believe that we were being deceived. We stopped checking what they told us, to see that it was true. Ultimately, we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Once the public has lost respect for the authority figures placed over them the only way to effectively rule them is through fear. That is where we now find ourselves, moving quickly towards a totalitarian New World Order.

Control the Venue

Venue is important. Lately we have seen public meetings that are supposed to allow questions from the public where those who expressed vocal opposition to public figures were arrested and even tasered. Soon there will be no meaningful dissent allowed against the government. Group mind control is always accomplished in a setting where communication is only one way. Questions are either not allowed to be asked such as in a church setting, or unable to be asked such as when consuming Television, movie or print media. Understand this; public assemblies without the opportunity for dissent serve no purpose but to indoctrinate.

The reason one-sided communication is so effective for mind control is because when our minds are not actively engaged in analyzing incoming information they tend to fall into the Alpha state, a light trance. Asking questions indicates that the right brain is awake and on the job instead of at rest and under submission. The unengaged mind is asleep. This is why lectures are so prevalent in colleges. There is no room for cognitive reasoning, just the mindless memorization of pre-supposed "facts" for subsequent regurgitation.

In this modern society we regularly spend many hours in this alpha state on a daily basis, so much so that our minds want to stay there. It is a tranquil and dreamlike state that is quite relaxing and pleasant. Some examples of the Alpha state are listening to music, watching television or while driving.
