Choose Your Weapons

IMGFor the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.
2 Corinthians 10:4 (KJV)

Brothers and sisters, God wants to remind you to stop looking to the weapons of this world to protect you. There is no more time to sit in the boat, we must learn to walk in faith; to walk on the water as Peter did. The boat is on fire and you must decide now if you are going to walk on water or drown. Our lamps must be full before the Bridegroom cometh (Matthew 25:10-12, Mark 13:35-36 KJV)

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
Isaiah 54:17 (KJV)

Those who have oil in their lamps will not be afraid in the darkness. Even now the enemy is forming weapons against you the likes of which the world has never seen. He is preparing his fiery furnaces to try God's people, many shall perish for the sake of fear. God is arming his people to stand triumphant against the weapons of this world. We must not fear what men can do to our bodies.

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Acts 2:17-18 (KJV)

A mighty wind is coming, and we who have oil in our lamps will once again do mighty miracles in His name before we are caught up. God will laugh at their weapons of mass destruction, they will be completely harmless against those whom He has chosen to stand as His golden candlesticks of this age.

I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
Revelation 3:18 (KJV)

Forget about your guns and provisions saith the Lord and buy from me gold tried by fire. Christ is not offering to give us this gold for free, but is making it available for purchase. What is this gold and how do we get it?

But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
Job 23:10 (KJV)

Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
Daniel 12:10 (KJV)

The gold Christ is offering us is not a thing but an transformation. It is a purification process that all Christians must go through. It is free yet does not come cheap; as a matter of fact it costs us everything we have in this world. This is because the things of this world are what we must be purified from. This purification process is not based on works we may do, but obedience.

By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
Hebrews 11:7 (KJV)

This is our warning for this generation! Christians must be prepared to board the ark today, this very moment, if they want to be found worthy to escape (Luke 21:36 KJV) the things coming upon this world. Satan has already made preparations to annihilate those believe they can defeat him by using his own weapons against him. We will not beat Satan at his own game; our only chance against him is through the Holy Spirit living in us. He is our ark in the flood, our white raiment and the oil in our lamps.
