Eternal Security Makes God a Liar!
And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer
darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. If OSAS is true, then God was lying when He insisted that His servants
must be profitable otherwise they will be sent to Hell. You cannot be a
servant of God unless you’ve had a genuine salvation experience at some
point in your life. So don’t try to weasel out of it by claiming they must
have never been saved. For it is impossible for those who were once
enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers
of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of
the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto
repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put
him to an open shame. If OSAS is true, then God was lying when He told us that some ultimately ‘fall away’ from the faith. Indeed, Hebrews 4 tells us of those who were Christians and had even tasted of the Heavenly gift (the Holy Spirit), but later fell away. Does God give His precious Holy Spirit to those who are not really saved? Is God a fool? These were clearly saved at one point and then not. But he that received the seed into stony places, the
same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath
he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or
persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended. If OSAS is true, then God was lying when He told us some will receive the gospel with joy on one day and then ultimately reject it after being persecuted. Yes, there are many out there who are currently Heaven bound, but will ultimately faint in the faith as soon as they suffer any persecution. The key phrase in the above passage is ‘(en)dureth for a while’. And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake:
but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. Again, if OSAS is true, then God was lying when He insisted that His
servants must ‘endure to the end’ in order to be saved. By comparing the two
above passages we can plainly see that although some may endure for a while
in the faith, only those who endure to the end (death or rapture) shall be
saved. Can you imagine Jesus looking down on His fornicating, lying Children, shrugging His shoulders to the Father, and saying “Oh well, once a son always a son, right Dad? Herp derp!”. Nope. That is a false Christ, unholy and powerless. My God is one that inspires fear and trembling in those who disobey Him, in order to lead them to repentance. Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not
as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own
salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God which worketh in you both
to will and to do of his good pleasure. The eternal security preaching pastor has hoodwinked his entire congregation and set them on a sure path to Hell! Scripture tells us our righteousness must exceed that of the Pharisees in order to enter heaven (Matthew 5:20 KJV). Is your pastor just confused or mistaken? NO! In all likelihood he has been compromised by those who the prophet Jude told us would sneak into the churches (Jude 1:4 KJV). ![]() Blog comments powered by Disqus |
