He Taints our Thinking

Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Romans 1:21 (KJV)

The word 'vain' in contemporary usage has become synonymous with pride in physical appearance, however there is more to it, 'cause you know sometimes words have two meanings'. Within the above scriptural context the most accurate definition of the word 'vain' is to become ineffectual through carelessness and neglect.

It is considered dereliction of our duties as Christians and is no minor matter. In the US Armed Forces dereliction of duties under certain circumstances may result in Court-martial proceedings and dishonorable discharge. In this context the antonym of 'vain' is the word diligent; it is the polar opposite of being as the Bereans that Paul commended (Acts 17:11 KJV).

The word 'imaginations' here represents our thought life. So when we put them both together we can see portrayed a stunningly accurate picture of modern day Christianity. The Devil has caused many who profess a faith in Christ to become ineffective in their thinking through carelessness, and by doing such a foolish thing allowed their hearts to become darkened.

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2 Thessalonians 2:10 (KJV)

As Christians we must worship the Truth because it is expressed in all three forms of God (John 8:32, John 14:17 KJV) whereas Satan is the father of lies (John 8:44 KJV).

He Jams the Thought Process

Experience has proven that the simplest method of securing a silent weapon and gaining control of the public is to keep the public undisciplined and ignorant of the basic system principles on the one hand, while keeping them confused, disorganized, and distracted with matters of no real importance on the other hand.

This is achieved by:
(1) disengaging their minds; sabotaging their mental activities; providing a low-quality program of public education in mathematics, logic, systems design and economics; and discouraging technical creativity.

(2) engaging their emotions, increasing their self-indulgence and their indulgence in emotional and physical activities, by:

(a) unrelenting emotional affrontations and attacks (mental and emotional rape) by way of constant barrage of sex, violence, and wars in the media - especially the T.V. and the newspapers.

(b) giving them what they desire - in excess - "junk food for thought" - and depriving them of what they really need.

(3) rewriting history and law and subjecting the public to the deviant creation, thus being able to shift their thinking from personal needs to highly fabricated outside priorities.

These preclude their interest in and discovery of the silent weapons of social automation technology.
The general rule is that there is a profit in confusion; the more confusion, the more profit. Therefore, the best approach is to create problems and then offer solutions.
Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars

Once we understand that Satan taints our thinking our next question is how? That's easy, because I have talked about it many times. It is similar to the process that hackers use to bring down a website called a DOS (denial of service) attack. What happens is they flood a web server with useless (vain) requests and data thereby locking out legitimate users from getting the info they need.

Similarly Satan through the media floods our minds with useless thoughts and by doing so locks out not only the Holy Spirit, but most all constructive thought. This is why we must turn off the television, movies and music if we are to have any chance to renew our minds with truth. We simply cannot get any truth into our heads until we stop drinking from the firehose of lies that darkens our foolish hearts.

He Gets Us to Exchange God's Truth for His Lies

Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

One of the things God showed me early on is how Satan prefers to entrap us by taking truth and changing it into a lie rather than fabricating it completely. By doing so his lies retain some essence of the truth, it is similar to a fisherman who prefers live bait over lures. A recent example that comes to mind is the definition of the word 'marriage' which dictionaries have changed to include homosexual couplings.

And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.

This is why we are admonished to beware the leaven of the Pharisees and Herod. The Pharisees represent the religious authorities and Herod the government's authority. We see this fact from the very beginning in the garden, both Adam and Eve knew the truth but exchanged it for a lie because it was more appealing to them.
