There's No Salvation Through Religion
And in process of time it came
to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the
LORD. And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the
fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But
unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth,
and his countenance fell.
What is religion? It is man's attempt to reach God by his own means; doing it his own way. As such we can consider Cain as the first man to practice religion. He attempted to substitute the 'fruit of the ground' for the animal sacrifice that God required and it was rejected.
Although there are many religions in the world today none of them will get a single soul to Heaven, including Christianity. This is because the only way a man will get to God is on His terms, and the Father has deemed that all must come through a personal relationship with His Son Jesus Christ.
And these signs shall follow them
that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with
new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly
thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they
Going to church is not a personal relationship with Jesus Christ; neither is paying tithes, doing good works, showing love to others or any other work you can imagine. All of these are good things, however they are only the fruits of such a relationship with Him. Anyone who tries to get to the Father through alternate mean such as works will be rejected as surely as Cain's sacrifice was by Him.
Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the
day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
What will become of those who don't take personal responsibility for their salvation? They are in the churches waiting for someone else to tell them what to do, but no one is telling them the truth! Those who want truth must find it for themselves. Sadly, most 'Christians' will do exactly what the men running these churches tell them to do from their pulpits, including taking the mark of the Beast. When Judgment day comes we will each be held personally accountable for our own actions, there will be no "I'm with my pastor", or denomination. God has no step children.
And the LORD saith,
Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not
obeyed my voice, neither walked therein; But have walked after the
imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught
them: Therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I
will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall
What most the churches are teaching is religion, not a personal experience with Jesus Christ of Nazareth. It amounts to occult knowledge. Yes, there are many hidden truths, however God is no respecter of persons; these truths are revealed to anyone armed with the Holy Spirit who seeks them diligently.
They teach that we must go to their scholars and seminaries to get what amounts to hidden (occult) esoteric knowledge. This knowledge is not found in scripture but is of their own private interpretation (2 Peter 1:20 KJV). These are the doctrines of devils; the exact same methods taken straight from the Talmud and used in Kabbalah. From Mystery Babylon to this very day in Freemasonry, Thelema and every other mystery religion in between men have been deceived by the bait of occult knowledge.
But the anointing which ye have received of him
abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same
anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even
as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
The churches have become a cult of personality; these pastors need you engaged with them and their ministries, denominations instead of looking to Jesus as your example.. This is why the focus is placed on a social gospel or other missions of good works. It is to distract you from the truth; you don't need them or their denominations.
And when he was demanded of the Pharisees,
when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom
of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo
there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
The churches are teaching everything except what the people need to hear; a message of repentance and righteous living. It is a hard message that most refuse to hear, but is the only way to salvation. When we are followers of Christ we must look inward for the kingdom of God, because it is our bodies that are the temple of the Holy Spirit. If you are not willing to be a Berean and check everything your pastor says against the Word of God then you'll be much better off not going to church at all than listening to their lies unquestioningly.
